How You Can Help

WE ARE IN THE PROCESS OF RE-DESIGNING OUR SITE TO BETTER SERVE THE PUBLIC. WE ASK FOR YOUR PATIENCE DURING THIS PROCESS.

Created in 1994, The Safe Haven Project, a non-profit domestic and international outreach organization is dedicated to confronting the need for education, advocacy and compassion for children and teenagers living with HIV/AIDS.

During its sixteen years of service, Safe Haven has created multi-faceted programs that focus on self- empowerment through artistic expression, leadership development, compassionate care, vocational training and philanthropy for those living with HIV/AIDS and those who desire to serve people living with HIV/AIDS.

Domestic Programs:

One of the Safe Haven Project, Inc’s signature programs is CAMP SAFE HAVEN – an annual retreat style camp that offers an entertaining, enlightening and empowering week-long experience for 9 – 18 year olds living with HIV/AIDS on the beautiful island of Martha’s Vineyard, MA (each April) and in Arden, NC (each August). More about our camps.

International Programs:

Safe Haven has provided educational and financial opportunities to villages throughout Ghana, West Africa for the past five years. Its international outreach to children and their families in need is expanding to East Sussex, England and will begin operations in 2011. More about our international programs.
