CAMP SAFE HAVEN NORTH CAROLINA 2010
How to become a volunteer counselor with Safe Haven.
In keeping with an important goal of our mission - which is to foster service experiences for young people by offering positions as Counselors and Junior Counselors at our camps for young people living with HIV - Safe Haven has created a process that we ask each potential applicant to follow. This process will allow us the ability to choose our staff based upon specific criteria.
It is our mission to offer the camp service experience to as many new individuals as possible, in order to share what many who have volunteered in the past consider a life changing experience. In addition, Safe Haven will balance our staff of new volunteers with a number of return staff to provide the continuity necessary for a smooth camp experiences.
It is in this spirit that we ask that each potential volunteer, both new and returning, to use the following criteria if you are interested in being considered.
