Spring 2011 Kids On Ice® Learn To Skate
January 8 - March 5, 2011 (8 week session, skip January 15)
Saturdays: 10:50-11:15 am, 12:30-12:55 pm or 12:55-1:20 pm
Fort Dupont Ice Arena offers group skating classes to area youth, ages 5-18 (kindergarten to twelfth grade), through its Kids On Ice® program. Kids On Ice is a free, community program whose mission is to make skating accessible and affordable for Washington-area children. Children are accepted into the program on a “first come, first served” basis. Priority is given to returning students (returning is defined as a skater who has had regular attendance in a class during the last calendar year) who submit their registration by the deadline.
The Spring 2011 session is complete, and the rink closes for annual Maintenance from March 20 - July 5. The next set of classes begins in July 2011, check back here in April for registration details.
We do not currently offer any adult classes at Fort Dupont. If there is enough interest we will offer an adult class on Saturday afternoons in July and/or August 2011. Please email Emily if you are interested in taking an adult skating class this summer.
