Friends of Fort Dupont Ice Arena has once again been named a beneficiary of the Acumen Solutions Race for a Cause TM 8K race
and one mile Fun Run on Sunday, October 17th, 2010 in Arlington, VA.
We are thrilled about this opportunity and strongly encourage you to
participate in this race as a runner, walker or volunteer to help raise
much needed funds for the Kids On Ice Program. Recruit some friends and run or walk as a team in support of Kids On Ice!

The
race will be on a fast, flat, out-and-back course that begins and ends
on North Quincy Street, near the intersection of Wilson Boulevard in
Arlington. Free parking is extremely limited, however the start line
is located three blocks from the Ballston Metro stop on the Orange
Line. The Ballston Mall will have paid parking available on the day of
the race.
The event is produced in partnership
with Potomac River Running. Runners of all levels, as well as walkers
are encouraged to participate.
