Starfish Ball Information

January 20, 2010

“Every Child Comes with Two Anti-Drug Devices.”

Parents who are actively involved in their kids’ lives, and set clear rules and expectations of no substance use, have a powerful influence on their children’s decision to remain alcohol and drug free.

For more than 10 years, DrugFree Idaho/PAYADA has been working to educate employers, parents and youth about how to stay healthy and drug-free.

Your support in 2009 allowed DrugFree Idaho to:

  • Reach 5,000+ students with anti-drug classes and presentations in our schools;
  • Involve more than 100 parents in Parenting Skills Classes;
  • Assist 18 new Idaho businesses in implementing Drug-Free Workplace Programs.

We need your help to keep our prevention education programs going strong.

On Saturday, March 13th, 2010, DrugFree Idaho, Inc. is hosting its 4th annual Starfish Ball, Making a Difference event at the Arid Club in Boise, from 6 p.m. until midnight.  The evening will include dinner and dancing, live and silent auctions. Tickets are $75 per person, or $125 per couple. Dress: Black Tie Optional (tuxedo or dark suit and tie for gentlemen; ladies wear cocktail, long dresses or dressy evening separates).

Please consider making a donation of an item, cash and/or services for our auction. Your support of substance abuse education and prevention for our children and families does make a difference!

Thank you in advance for your support.

P.S.  Please return the Donor Form today – we don’t want you to miss the February 20th deadline to be included in our event catalog!
