MARC FEDER
Marc J. Feder, a principal mediator in the firm of Gregorio, Haldeman, Piazza, Rotman, Frank & Feder, is a graduate of the Santa Clara University School of Law and a member of the State Bar of California. Since joining Gregorio, Haldeman & Piazza in 1993, Marc has successfully mediated a broad range of disputes: employment, civil rights, professional malpractice, partnership, entertainment, wrongful death, real estate, property, health care, commercial, intellectual property, construction, unfair competition, class action and personal injury disputes. ELIZABETH LINK
Elizabeth Link, principal of Link Mediation, works a full-time mediator specializing in complex commercial, business, employment and real estate disputes. Elizabeth began her mediation career at the George Washington University Law School Consumer Mediation Clinic in Washington, D.C., where she also received her J.D. She brings to her mediation practice 18+ years of experience as a civil litigation attorney, representing both plaintiffs and defendants in a variety of practice areas. JENNIFER KRESGE
Jennifer Kresge is a mediator and licensed clinician in private practice and has been mediating for over twenty-four years. She provides a variety of mediation trainings, and is also an expert witness providing testimony in the area of child development, custodial issues, domestic violence and child abuse. Additionally Jennifer is a parent coordinator/special master in high conflict divorce cases. She is an Advanced Practitioner/Trainer member of The Association of Conflict Resolution (ACR), and serves on their Legislative and Public Policy Committee. Jennifer is presently serving on the ADRNC Board of Directors and sits as Vice President on the Napa County Board of Education. She is past President of the California County Boards of Education. For the last four years, Jennifer has been involved in neuroscience research. She is a member of the Brainy Bunch.

JAMES LAFLIN, ESQ.
James Laflin, member of the California and Oregon bars, is founder and principal of Concilium, a professional mediation firm. While practicing general civil litigation, James developed expertise in contract and tort liability, employment, construction, real estate, professional liability, personal injury and insurance law. He now mediates throughout the western United States. He serves as a mediator and special master with additional expertise in complex litigation including construction, real estate, environmental, insurance, professional liability, labor and employment, personal injury and intellectual property matters.

PAULA LAWHON
Paula Lawhon works as a family law mediator and collaborative attorney in San Francisco. Paula serves as a Settlement Conference Master for the San Francisco Unified Family Court and is a panel mediator for the Mediation Services of the Bar Association of San Francisco, Community Boards and for the City and County of San Francisco’s Office of Citizen Complaints. She is a volunteer family law attorney with the Bar Association of San Francisco’s Volunteer Legal Services Program and a volunteer arbitrator for the California State Bar and the San Francisco Bar Association to resolve fee disputes between attorneys and clients.

Will Mooser currently has his private mediation practice, as well as sitting on the executive board of the Association for Dispute
Resolution of Northern California as the Treasurer and chairman for the Public Relations Committee. He is also a member of the the
Psychology of Conflict Resolution Committee of the American Bar
Association. In addition he works through SEEDS Community Resolution
Center as a trainer and mediator in the Hayward Superior Court (small

MARC PAISIN
Marc Paisin is a full time mediator and arbitrator with over 36 years
civil litigation experience. An attorney with over 100 Superior Court
civil trials, Marc, as both mediator and arbitrator, has a very broad
range of expertise in: personal injury/wrongful death, medical/ dental
malpractice, products liability, insurance, construction defect,
employment, aviation, fire, general business, art law and intellectual
property, contract, real estate, and fraud cases. He was named a Harry
Sloan Fellow at The Center For Mediation In Law in 2002.

MICHAEL D. RANAHAN, ESQ.
Before joining JAMS in 2005, Michael Ranahan was in a private practice with an emphasis on personal injury disputes for nineteen years. As a JAMS neutral, Michael’s wide range of expertise includes: personal injury and wrongful death, products liability, construction site, premises liability, property damage, medical malpractice, professional negligence, lemon law, and landlord-tenant. Michael has participated in hundreds of mediations or arbitrations involving a wide variety of matters. He also mediates cases through the Contra Costa County EASE Program.

Chad Thigpen is principal of Achieva Consulting Group. With over ten years of experience, Chad’s specific areas of expertise encompass mediation, coaching and change management. Chad also consults and trains in leadership, change management and talent management. He coaches groups and partners who want to drive their performance and productivity to new levels personally and professionally. Chad graduated from the Organization & Relationship Systems Coaching training program, and is a currently completing his certification requirements for the International Coach Federation.

CLAUDIA VIERA. ESQ.
Claudia Viera is an experienced attorney-mediator who focuses on employment, contract and business disputes. She has promoted effective communication and increased understanding between parties in conflict for over 10 years. She has mediated over 200 cases, including all forms of harassment and discrimination, wrongful termination, sexual harassment, business dissolution of partnerships, wage claims and landlord-tenant disputes. In addition to mediating for a variety of court panels, Claudia trains supervisors on their legal responsibilities and conducts employment investigations. She also mediates in Spanish.

ANDREW WESTLEY
Andrew Westley has been practicing law since 1985. His firm, The
Westley Law Office, handles all matters relating to the preservation of
tenant rights. Andy’s expertise includes both traditional litigation
and alternative dispute resolution. He has been a volunteer community
mediator for Community Boards since 1994. He also works as judge pro
