Independent Living

Many children in foster care must prepare to live independently rather than return home.

Without a permanent home and the skills and resources that are essential to survival, too many children are at a high risk for becoming homeless.

Our case managers work with adolescents and youth adults 14 to 21, supporting them and helping them acquire the educational, occupational and practical skills they will need to function effectively in independent daily life.
