2010 Westmoreland Sportswomen of the Year

"A Celebration of All Women and Girls in Sports and Fitness"
Since 1994, the YWCA has been recognizing the accomplishments of women and girls in sports and fitness. We are currently accepting nominations for the 2010 awards. Nominees must be Westmoreland County female athletes who demonstrate superior athletic achievement, high academic standards, community involvement and outstanding leadership qualities in the year 2009.
Winners will be recognized at the Annual Sportswomen of the Year Awards banquet. This year's banquet will be held at Four Points Sheraton, located in Greensburg, on Wednesday, March 31, 2010. We are excited to welcome Leanne Meyer, motivational speaker and founder of Divanation, as the keynote speaker for the evening.
The selection committee invites you to nominate outstanding individuals or teams in all of the following categories:
* NOMINATION DEADLINE: FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 12, 2010
(late submissions will not be considered)
* WINNERS WILL BE ANNOUNCED BY: FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 26, 2010
