Dear Supporters, Volunteers of Ten Lives
and friends of Marc and Mary.

I am writing on behalf of the staff and our cats at Ten Lives Club.
Marc and I have been faithful volunteers at the shelter 2-3 days a week.

We are constantly trying to improve the environment
for the cats and maximize staff efficiencies so the cats are taken care.
Unfortunately, I have been unsuccessful in obtaining grant money
for stainless steel cages that would minimize labor and
improve isolation of sick cats.
These cages are desperately needed at the shelter.

Currently we are using rusted old wire cages that cannot
be sanitized properly and are labor intensive to clean.
All these cages have to be dragged outside and
washed with a hose so they can be used for the next cat.
Our employees risk injury, it is time consuming
and takes away from caring for the cats.

I can speak for myself after carrying 8 cages out
in one day and cleaning them, I finally injured my
hand (not to mention the countless back aches).
This was the last straw for me as I can feel the frustration of
the staff that continually tries to make it all work.

Marc and I have decided to donate a $1000.00
towards the stainless steel cages and hope you would
consider making a donation towards the cages.
The total amount of two (4) cage units is $3891.84
or $486.48 per cage (includes shipping).
Any amount would be appreciated, but if you would like to
donate the cost of one cage, a plaque can be placed
on your cage with your name engraved on it.
I have attached an estimate from Shor-Line for your review.

These cages are important to the well being of the
cats along to the staff that cleans them.

Please consider a donation. I can be reached at 716-549-5015
or email rr2439@hotmail.com.

I will be happy to post the donators name in our next newsletter.

FOR THE CATS,

Marc and Mary Willer
