The Main Event:
10K Race - 8:30 a.m.
5K Walk/Run - 8:30 a.m.
1 Mile Family Fun Run - 9:00 a.m.
Not Your Average Race:
The Summer Scurry course is much more than 6.2 miles of meandering through the city of Independence - all along the course you will encounter our version of summer fun - sprinklers, water toys, icee pops - you can even slip n' slide your way through the finish line (optional of course).
After you scurry through the race course you can take part in family activities & entertainment, visit our local corporate sponsors, partake of some summer treats, and test your luck with our raffles!
