What information is collected by the Homicide Survivors, Inc. website?
- Unless you choose to provide us additional contact or donor information, the only information collected from visitors is the number of times pages are viewed.
- The total number of page views per month is collected anonymously to help us understand which pages are most useful to our visitors. - Accessibility to personal information is limited to staff who are required to abide by a confidentiality agreement. Procedures are in place to ensure the security of an individual's personal information.
- We have put in place appropriate physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard the information we collect. Our information has the benefit of being kept secure, both electronically and physically, in office space generously donated by the Pima County Attorney’s Office.
- For your privacy and security, online donations to Homicide Survivors, Inc. must be done through PayPal, which offers the ability to donate without sharing personal information, anti-fraud protection and account monitoring, a clear and simple process to report a problem if it arises, and even tools to help fight phishing and identity theft.
How do I request that my donor information be kept private?
- As stated above, Homicide Survivors, Inc. does not share any donor information with any third parties.
