Lag Ba'Omer Spring Camp
Friday May 21st - Sunday May 23rd
Ages 8-15
 
Come spend a fun-filled weekend with us, surrounded by nature in Liberty, New York!
  • Spend a beautiful Spring weekend at our camp with friends, new and old.
  • Help prepare the new and improved garden for use over the summer
  • Make campfires, drink hot chocolate, and eat marshmallows.
  • Play sports (soccer, frisbee, basketball, and more).
  • Dance to your favorite music and also learn fun Israeli dances.
  • March with us in the Salute to Israel Parade on 5th Avenue.

For Parents:
  • Transportation is provided from four convenient locations - Manhattan, Long Island, New Jersey, and Albany.
  • Excellently trained educational and support staff from North America and Israel provide the highest quality program.
  • Food is fresh and delicious - made in our very own kitchen. Shabbat dinner is provided.
  • The whole camp goes together to march in the Salute to Israel parade on May 23 on 5th Avenue in Manhattan. For years, Hashomer Hatzair and Camp Shomria have proudly marched in the parade under the banner: "Youth for Peace". Parents are encouraged to join us - parade details will be posted two weeks prior.
  • The entire two-night, three day program is only $250.

Packing List
  • 4-6 pairs of socks (in case of rain)
  • 2 pairs of sturdy pants
  • 2 t-shirts
  • 3 pairs of underwear
  • 2 long sleeved shirts
  • 2 sweatshirts 
  • 1 rain jacket
  • 1 warm jacket
  • Sleeping bag (and pillow)
  • Toiletries and towel
  • 2 pairs of closed shoes 
  • Chultza Shomrit (movement shirt - if you have one) or a plain white t-shirt.
This list is a guideline. Please be sure to pack plenty of warm clothing (it can be chilly at night) and wet weather gear in case it rains.
