About Orlando and JoAnn Reyes
founders of The Fort Worth HOPE Center

Both Orlando and JoAnn Reyes were born into poverty. Orlando grew up in the housing developments of Los Angeles, and JoAnn was raised on a cotton farm in Tennessee.

Orlando received a scholarship in gymnastics and worked his way through Bible College and Seminaryby teaching gymnastics. Now Pastor of Without Walls Church of Fort Worth (in East Fort Worth),  he preaches a message of LOVE and FAITH that gives HOPE to families as they break free from poverty.

JoAnn won a partial college scholarship by winning a Science Fair in Tennessee.  She worked her way through college and graduate school, graduating with a teaching degree in Biology and Chemistry and a Master’s degree in Education.  She taught school in the inner city schools of Fort Worth.

Together they worked for over 15 years in the inner city providing Affordable Housing for low-income families, skill building, food, and clothing for those in need, and most importantly, providing HOPE.

All four of their children have college degrees and have very successful careers.

The CYCLE of POVERTY has been broken!

Help The HOPE Center break the cycle of poverty for others with a Donation that will give back to our community over and over again.
