| United Africa Organization Honors, Executive Director of ECAC
Dr. Erku Yimer was awarded the Kwame Nkrumah Visionary Leadership Award on September 24, 2011 by UAO. The award was given in honor of the participation and leadership roles he has given over the years. He has provided effective leadership in organizing activities that have created significant public awareness about the plight of African refugees and famine victims.
After-School program
We serve all youth between the ages of 6-13.
The goals of the program are:
- To promote academic achievements
- To encourage youth involvement in community activities and issues
- To help foster to idea of creating positive social change
- To give them cultural education and help them to adopt to the new one
