Volunteer

"The smallest act of kindness is worth more than the grandest intention."
-Oscar Wilde
The staff of Friends of the Family is doing everything in our power to stop family violence and heal the wounds of sexual assault. But, we cannot do it alone. We need your help.

Volunteers play a vital part in the delivery of services. From helping at the Thrift Store to supporting victims of sexual assault, from lending a hand in the office to leading group counseling, our volunteers make it possible for us to give our clients excellent service.

We encourage both groups and individuals to look into volunteering for Friends of the Family. Whether you can give an hour a month or several hours a week, use the links on the left to check out the rewarding volunteer opportunities. If you feel you can make a contribution in a way that's not listed, let us know. We are always open to new ideas.

Get in touch with Hillarye Hightower, Community Resource Coordinator, at 940.387.5131 x231 or Volunteer@dcfof.org to help us celebrate courage and save lives.
