Orientation Overview
Purpose:
The purpose of the orientation is to familiarize participants with agency history, agency services, program expectations and procedures. The intention of the orientation is to provide education about domestic violence, emphasize accountability and the ability to change. Fee for orientation is $25.
Procedure:
The is done in a group setting and is conducted approximately every other week at the Denton or Lewisville office.
SCHEDULE HERE
The orientation familiarizes clients with current statistics on domestic violence, changes in laws and the effects of domestic violence. The participants are provided with the definition of abuse and emphasis is put on clients and their choices.
