Designed to meet the developmental needs of children ages 3 - 8, the camps offer activities that immerse campers in the theme of the session. And our flexible schedule allows you to choose from four 2-week sessions. Enjoy one, two, three or all four sessions!
Art, music, drama, nature activities . . . and much more! Each day will include outdoor time and time to enjoy the Museum's interactive exhibits!
Taught by professional Museum educators and assisted by student teachers and our CIT's, Museum camps feature a low teacher-to-camper ratio, assuring plenty of individualized attention. Programs are geared for hands-on exploration and provide open-ended opportunities for children to build understanding and knowledge. Your child will learn while having fun!

Great Explorations (ages 3 - 5)
Is your child ready to be dropped off and join our group? Led by highly qualified staff, these multi-aged camps are packed full of fun, and will offer more opportunity for camper-directed interests and choices. All activities will be geared to your child's developmental skills. Child must be independently toilet learned.
•Session One - Creative Constructions

Are you a budding artist or builder? Then you will enjoy creating new pieces of work each day using a vast array of mediums. We'll explore some unusual paints, use some funky "paint brushes," squish dough, and create some fantastic towering structures too!

Ahoy Mateys! Spend some cool days with us as we dive into the wonderful world of water. Drips and drops from rainfall, waves from the seashore and even some cool ice will be the focus of daily discoveries at camp. We'll follow the water cycle and try some neat experiments too. What a way to keep cool!

Looking for egg-cited scientists to help make science come alive with wacky egg experiments and activities. Also, come see and learn about animals that hatch from eggs, seek out some nests in The Wild Place and learn how to crack some jokes!
•Session Four - A Wild Time

Kids + outside = FUN! Join us as we explore The Wild Place, create masterpieces inspired by nature and glimpse at some critters that thrive in our gardens. Get ready to roll up your sleeves and dig into fun!

Requesting brave paleontologists for a super excursion! We are traveling back in time to when dinosaurs roamed the Earth. Excavate, dig, explore, and discover the many secrets of this fascinating time period.
Camp Discovery (ages 6 - 8)
These camps are geared to hands-on learning and uncovering the answers to questions that curious early elementary students have. There are no session 1 or 5 camps for this age group.

Calling all campers who love to roll up their sleeves and smoosh into creativity. Campers will use a variety of clays, dough and modeling mixtures while experimenting with techniques. You'll have fun creating unique, beautiful and useful pieces!

Step into our LAB and be ready to make some fun discoveries. Try our staff's favorite experiments and enjoy creating new ones of your own. Like experimenting? Like games? You'll love this session!
•Session Four - Blast Off!
Monday, August 1 - Wednesday, August 3 & Monday, August 8 - Wednesday, August 10
Ten, nine, eight...lift off! What goes up must come down. Campers will send things rocketing into the air and try to make smooth landings, too. We'll use some common and not so common materials to have a blast.
•Session Five - Treasure Hunters
Monday, August 15 - Wednesday, August 17 & Monday, August 22 - Wednesday, August 24
We'll create some treasures, bury a treasure and even dig one up! Ever dream of another world? We'll create an imaginary world and discover its secrets...once we find it! Did we mention the treasure hunt?
