New Exhibit: The Dinosaur Den and Prehistoric Pathway
The new Prehistoric Pathway is designed for children ages 3 – 8 and features indoor and outdoor learning environments with interactive, hands-on science activities.
As they journey into the ancient past, kids can dress up in dinosaur costumes and imagine what it might have been like to walk and roar like dinosaurs, explore the Dinosaur Den, a cave with rock specimens, study slides of insects, snake skin, plant life under a microscope, and touch real fossil tracks that are 200 million years old.
Our unique Outdoor Learning Center, "The Wild Place" is a sight to behold! Kids can:
- Learn about insects with the Butterfly Garden and Hotel, uncover ancient footprints in the Fossil Pit, make music, play on Rising, the elephant, or climb the Treehouse!
Remember what childhood was like for you? Well we do! Let the "Wild Place" take your kids back to a simpler childhood!
FETCH! Lab
Come and learn in our FETCH! Lab with Ruff Ruffman. You can build a house, create a maze, or participate in numerous FETCH! science and math activities.
Enchanted Forest
Rule over your kingdom from your throne or have your royal jester put on a puppet show for you. In this enchanted forest everyone is royalty.
Woodsy Camp and Cabin
Lions and Tigers and Bears....OH MY!! Set up camp and rough it in the wilderness while telling stories around the camp fire.
Performance Center
