This training is intended for both general and special education staff and parents. The hierarchy of support encompassing adaptations, modifications, parallel and alternate curriculums will be discussed. The implementation of the hierarchy of prompting, as related to adaptations and modifications will be discussed. Adaptation/modification strategies will be applied across the domains of literature, math, fine motor skills, pre-vocational skills and behavior, incorporating technology where appropriate.

2009 Scholarship Recipient
Rose Sloan is our 2009 Celebrate Differences Scholarship recipient.
Rose graduated from Schaumburg High School, with a class ranking of 17 in a class over 600.
With our assistance, Rose is now attending Northwestern University, studying social policy.
Rose's goal is to erase the stereotypes placed on individuals by society," a society believing that disabled individuals are lesser than the average person. "
We wish Rose success in all of her endeavors. We want to thank all of everyone who has supported us, financially, so that we are able to continue to offer our scholarship to student's like Rose.
Scholarship applications will be available on line in April 2010. If you or someone you know is interested in applying for our scholarship, please check our website at that time.
