SERVICES: Special Olympics is a year- round

sports training and competition program for

The training of eligible individuals in various

industrial, technical and business related fields

and job placement assistance. Programs for highschool

drop-outs and dislocated workers. Title 2A

provides services for individuals 21 and over who

meet economic guidelines. Title 2C provides

services for individuals 17 to 21 years old who

meet economic guidelines. Title 3 provides

services to dislocated workers due to plant

closure, being laid off or being out of work for 15

out of 26 weeks. There are no economic

guidelines for Title 3. Funded through JTPA until

6-30-99. Funded through Workforce Investment

Act beginning 7-1-99.

holistic approach that encourages the children

and families of inmates to become constructive

members of society.

What makes We Stand For KIDS unique is the

design and implementation of a five-tier program

that encompasses the essential individuals

involved in raising a child:

* KIDS' Intervention and Prevention Programs -

Extensive educational & enrichment

opportunities, mentoring, tutoring, behavioral

and learning styles assessment, health, and

nutritional services. Ability to dream and

implement.

* Inmate "Welfare to Work Preparation"

Programs - Morale building, family visits,

education, job training and housing assistance.

* Caregiver Support Programs - Physical and

emotional support including childcare, life-skills,

and educational services.

* Family Advocates and Volunteer Services -
