Every Friday morning during the museum’s season, two volunteers, Mel Brown & Paul D’Aprile, visit the exhibit galleries to wind clocks.  One Friday, Zander Jakuc of Southport, CT and his mother came to the museum to watch this process.   Zander followed Paul around the museum to learn about the clocks including the Ansonia “Gloria” swinging ball pendulum clock and the New Haven Clock Co. “Ignatz” flying pendulum clock.  It appears as though the horology field has a new recruit.
