Im sorry for that comment, I don't mean that blacks are ineffective as a people, I think they are very creative and an open minded spirited people.  They are truly gifted and are totally capable of becoming successful in this world if they work for it but the idea that they need money because their culture has been destroyed by slavery is preposterous.

Im sorry, but maybe its a good thing that blacks were assimilated into the white culture - that way they wouldn't still be living as savages (rival tribes enslaved each other and they sold their own brothers to the european/ american colonials, aiding the slave trade movement, especially Africans on the Western coast).  So maybe you can argue against the oppression of the white power structure after you have assesed the situation in Darfur, or the barbarism of African tribes even today, and understand what it really means to be a part of society.  So I hope this is a call to action for some black asses out there that are too indignant to try and make a difference in their community themselves, if you're so heartset on the African Diaspora ideology, then why don't you go back there and fight neighboring tribes or die of HIV? Ok im sorry but what about South American indigenous peoples whose culture was completely exterminated by the Spanish? Stop sounding like you're having a self righteous pity party all the damn time over this, colonialism is a dead way of life for this world. Imperialism is out and now we have international humanitarian organizations like the UN to promote peace in this world. Just look at Kofi Annan's contribution to world peace.  And he was an African.  So instead of complaining about how you've been crippled as a people by white supremacy, why not get out and vote in your local elections and stop wasting the governments money.  Get off of welfare and get a job.  Reparations paid to "blacks" or "African-Americans" or "Africans" or whoever is further evidence of their dependency and won't help anything, it will only fail to provide funding for international aid, it will disadvantage this country by funding a racist ideal and will not solve the issues of poverty.  This is a dead cause, try working towards something constructive - you think the goverment will help you?
